A well-known table game that is played with cards. It is one of the most commonly enjoyed variations of the poker game, which appeared in one of the most popular states of the USA – Texas Hold’em. It has a lot of varieties. Thanks to the original presentation of the cards and the possibility to play both with opponents and one-on-one with the dealer made this type of poker especially popular.
The founders of Triple-Edge Poker have slightly modified the rules. This game requires the player to choose one of the three pairs of cards, which are dealt by the dealer. In this case, the dealer has two hands at once and twice the chance of winning if the player does not thoughtfully give up one of the profitable hands.
Triple-Edge Poker Basic Info
In most online casinos, this poker variation looks pretty much the same. As soon as the game begins, special attention is attracted by its design. The developers tried to make the game as realistic as possible and spent a lot of time on creating a perfect poker table. As with most card games of this type, a player’s guide is located in the center of the screen along with the title, which states that the winning of one of the hands is paid 1:1.
Cards, chips, and the table, which shows the data on the bets. The highest one is 200 while the lowest one is 1. This data is located at the top of the screen. If a player clicks on the table itself, they will see info about the game and the payouts for the greatest combinations. On the player’s side (that is at the bottom of the game screen), there is a place for Ante bet, as well as the main function buttons and various chips with denominations for betting.
A small box at the very bottom of the screen indicates the amount of player credit. The “options” button will help set up additional parameters during the gameplay, which will suit the player as much as possible.
The Hand Rankings
Hand comparison is something to keep in mind while playing. The main combinations include:
- Straight Flush – 3 cards in a line show up numerically neighboring to one another. In this case, a participant with the largest card value wins.
- 3 of a Kind – When the gambler and the dealer both possess 3 of a kind, the hand which ranks the highest wins.
- Straight – 3 cards that pop up numerically adjacent. They should not necessarily be of the same suit. Once again, the one with the “most valuable” hand wins.
- Flush – Both the dealer and the gambler just hold a flush, meaning 3 cards of the same suit.
- Pair – As the name implies, a couple of matching cards are required. The last, third card should not necessarily be of the same suit. In this case, the participants should hold up matching items.
The Beginning of the Game
After setting all the parameters, click on the button “Deal” if the bet has been made. Next, it is necessary to choose whether to leave the emerging pair of cards “Hold” or get a new “Deal again.” Pairs can be changed twice. If a player is satisfied with the cards, the dealer deals two pairs of cards to themselves.
There are five cards right in the center that will make up the main combination. The game will automatically highlight the highest possible card combination, which can belong to either the player or the dealer. The player’s bet is multiplied if luck is on their. Otherwise, the bet goes to the casino.
To continue the game, it’s enough to press the button “Rebet” or “Rebet x2.” If the bet is not suitable in either case, a player can use “Clear Bet” and, using their chips, set the one that is good for the next round.
Mind that online Triple-Edge Poker uses a Random Number Generator (RNG). It’s possible to count cards playing live poker, but the chances are rather low.
