When Dota 2 International 2021 Is Going to Be
For over a year, Dota 2 fans have been anticipating the most renowned tournament on the game’s professional calendar, and it’s finally here. The event was scheduled to take place in Sweden in 2020, but was postponed due to the pandemic.
The International 2021 will begin on October 7 and end on October 17, spanning a total of nine days due to a one-day break between the group stages and the main event. Teams will be separated into two groups and compete for positions in the higher and lower brackets.
The final two teams from each group will be eliminated from the competition, with the remaining teams advancing to the finals. With the exception of the finals, which will be a best-of-five tournament, all main event matchups will be contested in a best-of-three format.
Despite Valve’s decision to cancel the in-person audience for The International 2021, the tournament is still going on, and teams are already training in Romania. Given that the prize pool for the event has risen to an all-time high, the competition is expected to be fiercer than ever.
How much Is Dota 2`s International 10’s Prize Pool?
The entire prize pool for the International 2021 is $40,018,195. The first-place team will receive 45.5 percent of the prize pool, with the remainder going to the following teams:

The first-place team and its members will be immortalized in Dota 2 history with their names engraved on the Aegis. Players who are currently playing Dota 2 will be able to use the Compendium to make predictions.
A team will be sent to the lower bracket if they lose in the upper bracket, and they will be eliminated if they lose in the lower bracket. Fans who are unable to watch the event live owing to the time difference can watch highlights, interviews, and other footage from The International on Dota 2’s official YouTube channel at the end of each day.
