The main goal of the participant of the Single Decker Blackjack table game is to balance as close to 21 during the game as possible without, however, scoring higher than 21 points. The player can play with any amount not exceeding 21 in the hope that the dealer will score more than 21 points. A large deck of 52 cards (with denominations from Deuces to Aces) is used to draw bets. The gambling process consists of several played bets. Each card in the deck is valued at a certain number of points during the betting process:

• The dealer deals two cards to themselves and a player. Then, they open one of their cards. If ten or ace shows up, the dealer opens the second card.

• Any cards that score 10 points are split.
• No blackjack is made with cards after the split.
• There is insurance against the dealer’s blackjack.

Rules of Basic Strategy: Examples

Typical case: The dealer shows their first card of two, three, four, five, or six. They are likely to lose. According to blackjack rules, the dealer must draw cards until they reach 17 points or more. There’s a good chance that the dealer will take a picture or ten (cards with ten points), as they appear in the deck most often.

What to do: In basic strategy, if the dealer shows a 2-4 card, a player with eleven points or less must buy cards without the possibility of going over, stopping at 12 or higher. If the dealer shows a card from five to six, the player with ten and eleven points should make a double.
