Play 3 Card Poker Online for Free
3 Card Poker is a betting game where players try to get the best three card hand possible. They can play against the dealer with an ante bet or wager on the value of their own three-card hand. Just remember, it’s the only poker game where a straight beats a flush.
How to Play Three Card Poker?
Three Card Poker utilizes a standard deck of 52 playing cards. Each game can involve up to 12 players. Their position rotates clockwise after each game.
Once players place their bets, they receive three cards each. All cards are dealt face down from right to left. And this is when the game starts.
To get a grasp on the game, you need to learn how to play 3 card poker step by step. Make sure to follow our lead:
Place a Bet
The game table consists of three circles per player. The Pair Plus is the circle intended for the Pair Plus game. Two more circles “Ante” and “Play” are intended for the base game. The game begins when you place a bet on the Ante and/or the Pair Plus circle that are equal to the table minimum.
Tart the Game
The game starts with the player seated on the left side of the dealer. The game will move clockwise around the table.
Play or Fold
After revealing your hand, you will fold or play on. If you’re not satisfied with your hand, you can fold and lose your Ante wager. If you decide to continue, you need to call and place one more bet that would be similar to the Ante bet.
Compare Hands
Once you reveal your cards, the dealer will have to do the same thing. If he has a queen or any other high card, he “qualifies” his hand straight away. If your bet is stronger, you win even money on your Play and Ante bets.
If the dealer has a small card, he doesn’t “qualify” his hand. All players who continue the game will have their Play bet back. In addition, they will get even money for their Ante bet.
The player with the best three card hand rank becomes a winner of the round. Considering the mathematical probabilities of making certain hands, they are ranked as follows:
High Card
The highest card in your hand.
Pair
Two cards of the same rank.
Flush
Three non-sequential cards of the same suit.
Straight
Three cards in sequence of mixed suits.
Three of a Kind
Three cards of identical ranks.
Straight Flush
Three cards of the same suit appearing in sequence.
Mini Royal Flush
Queen, king, and ace of the same suit.

Try Your Luck with free Three Card Poker
If you’re new to the game, you may need some 3 Card Poker free practice. Most gambling sites offer this game in free mode. This way, you will learn the nuance before risking your bankroll.
Fold Your Hands Below Q-6-4
Once you have a hand below Q-6-4, you should fold. The dealer’s hand qualifies with a queen or any other high card. So, you will most likely be behind if you decide to play with a poor hand.
Keep Your Bankroll under Control
Gambling can be efficient if you keep your bankroll well-organized. You need to link your bets to a percentage of your total bankroll. For example, you may start at 1% of your current funds. Thus, you will be able to minimize the risks.
Forget about the Pair Plus Bet
The house edge for Ante & Play goes up when you place the Pair Plus side bet. The payouts for a pair don’t make the side bet worth the risk.
Last but not least, you should choose a reliable gambling platform. This will determine your gaming experience, from initial odds to final payouts. Analyze the available bonus features and additional terms before starting the registration.
